I was reading a blog last night by one of my daughters former teachers. He was explaining how in the 2012 Olympics six of GB’s medals were won by an inch or less. He also explained how coaches such a Dave Brailsford in cycling emphasise the 1% improvement to performance. It’s often at the margins that the difference makes a difference. Likewise in life it’s often the cumulative small choices that add up, especially when the going is hard. Every journey starts with a single step.

Last August I started 60@60 wondering how I would ever get through the activities and £6000 seemed virtually impossible. But step by step 🚶♂️progress has happened and on Sunday a very generous gift took me over the £6000 target. Amazing! Thanks so much to the 100+ people who have supported me. The Bible verse for that day on Bibleapp was Mark 9:23: “with God nothing is impossible”. So true and I’m so grateful to the God of all my days.
The finish line is in sight with the activities (2 more nearly complete and three to do after that) but I’m very much a tortoise rather than a (multicoloured) hare. But they will all be done before August 5th!
I realise it’s a cheeky ask but if you haven’t given so far it would be great if you could over the coming weeks. It’s not because I want to look good but because I want to raise as much as I can while I have this wonderful opportunity to support persecuted Christians who really need our help. It’s about making a difference to as many lifes as I can. To make a difference for precious individuals like Kirti.
Thanks as ever for your amazing support.
